The Nightster arrived for 2007 as one of the first Dark Custom-style Sportsters: a blacked-out 1200 with a bobbed rear fender, side-mounted licence plate, gaitered fork and a very low solo-look seat. It used the newly fuel-injected 1200 Evolution engine in the rubber-mounted chassis. Short suspension travel and limited ground clearance were the price of its slammed stance.
