The 2014 Forty-Eight carried over the 1200 cc Evolution engine, belt drive and low-slung chassis, finished with staggered chrome shorty exhausts with slash-cut mufflers. Year-to-year changes were mostly cosmetic, and the Forty-Eight's character as a compact, low and heavily styled custom stayed the same.
