For 2025 the Sportster S received its biggest update since launch, answering complaints about the harsh rear end: rear wheel travel grew by about 60 percent, from 51 mm to 82 mm, with no change to seat height, and both ends are fully adjustable. Cruise control became standard, the engine and exhaust got black finishes, and new paint options and a Checkered V tank medallion were added. The 121 hp Revolution Max 1250T engine and electronic rider aids carried over.
