The 2022 Iron 883 was the final year of the blacked-out entry Sportster that had been in the range since 2009, and one of the last bikes to use the air-cooled 883 cc Evolution twin. It kept the low solo seat, mid-mount controls and drag-style bars, with black nine-spoke cast wheels and black exhausts. It was sold alongside the new liquid-cooled Nightster and Sportster S, which replaced it from 2023 in most markets.
