The 2006-2007 883 Custom kept the laid-back recipe of 21-inch front wheel, raised bars, lowered suspension and forward controls on the rubber-mount chassis. The big change came for 2007, when fuel injection replaced the carburettor across the Sportster range for emissions, giving a little more low-rev torque and a few extra kilograms.
