The second-year SuperLow was mechanically unchanged; Harley's 2012 updates were new paint options and side covers finished in black to match the bodywork. It remained the low-seat, easy-handling entry Sportster on split five-spoke 18/17-inch wheels with Michelin Scorcher tyres.
