The 2016-2017 SuperLow kept the 883 Evolution engine and radial-tyred 18/17-inch wheel package unchanged. The emphasis stayed on easy low-speed handling and a low seat, with braided brake lines, optional ABS and an optional proximity security system. It was the gentlest Sportster in the range and was aimed squarely at first-time riders.
