The Nightster revived an old Sportster name in 2022 as the first conventional-looking Sportster built around the liquid-cooled Revolution Max engine, here in 975 cc form. The engine works as part of the chassis, the fuel tank sits under the seat to lower the centre of gravity, and the styling nods to older Sportsters with a round air-box cover, exposed rear shocks and a solo seat. It came with ABS, traction control and selectable riding modes as standard, a big step up in technology from the air-cooled 883.
