Built by Aermacchi in Varese, the 250 two-stroke street single replaced the four-stroke Sprint in Harley's small-bike range. It was the low-pipe road twin of the SX 250 trail bike, with a five-speed box and a front disc. Testers rated its low-down pull, handling and brakes, but sales were weak and the line ended when Harley sold the factory to Cagiva in 1978.
