The 2013 Night Rod Special kept the 2012 restyle with its tapered tail, lighter wheels and shorter reach to the controls. ABS and Harley's Smart Security proximity-fob system were bundled into an optional Security Package. Power still came from the 1250 cc liquid-cooled Revolution V-twin.
