For 2007 the Japanese-market Super Cub 50 swapped its carburettor for PGM-FI fuel injection to meet tighter emissions rules, which also improved economy and starting. Power dropped compared with the old high-revving C50, but torque arrived lower down for city work. The classic step-through layout, leg shields and three-speed automatic-clutch gearbox were unchanged.
