Honda file

The CB1000 Super Four, nicknamed the Big One, grew out of Honda's PROJECT BIG-1 idea and was shown at the 1991 Tokyo Motor Show before going on sale in late 1992. It used a detuned CBR1000F four tuned for low and midrange pull in a steel double-cradle frame with twin rear shocks, recalling the unfaired muscle bikes of the 1970s. Big and heavy at walking pace, it proved surprisingly composed once moving. For 1993 two-tone white/red and black/silver colours were offered.
