From 2017 Honda reworked the CB1100 family, adding the sportier RS, LED lighting, a lighter exhaust and a slipper clutch, with ABS standard on Japanese models. The standard CB1100 stayed a simple air-cooled retro four with twin shocks and 18-inch cast wheels. In Europe and the US the line-up shifted towards the EX and RS.
