The CB1100 TR was a one-off concept based on the air-cooled CB1100 roadster, reworked into a lean, sporty special. It wore Öhlins suspension and a Termignoni exhaust, and carried the number 58 as a tribute to the late Italian MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli. It was built to gauge interest in a more aggressive CB1100 rather than as a production bike.
