For 2005 the Super Four was joined by the half-faired Super Bol d'Or (sold in Europe as the CB1300S), and an ABS option arrived. The naked bike itself received smoother low-speed throttle response, slimmer side covers and gold wheels; 2006 brought smoked indicator lenses, a red rear spring and new colours. Reviewers rated it a smooth, torquey and comfortable all-rounder.
