The 2013 Super Bol d'Or was marked in Japan by a 400-unit 20th-anniversary edition in white and red with gold brake parts. In March 2014 Honda gave the bike its biggest update since launch: a six-speed gearbox, a smaller silencer, a redesigned half fairing with LED headlight, a closer handlebar and conventional ABS in place of the combined system. The Super Touring was absorbed into the range at the same time.
