Honda file

The CB400A was the Hondamatic member of the 1978 Hawk family: the same three-valve 395 cc twin, detuned and paired with a two-speed semi-automatic box driven through a torque converter. A parking brake lever took the place of the clutch lever, and the bike could only be started in neutral. Aimed mainly at US commuters, it was smooth and easy in traffic but performed more like a 250.
