The final run of the naked CB500 twin, mechanically unchanged from the late-1990s bikes apart from colours. It kept the 58 hp DOHC twin, six-speed gearbox, disc brakes at both ends and the upright riding position that made it a popular learner and commuter machine. Honda dropped it after 2003 when tighter European emissions rules arrived.
