The CB500X joined the CB500F and CBR500R in 2013 as the adventure-styled member of Honda's new 471 cc twin family. It used the same liquid-cooled parallel twin and steel diamond frame on 17-inch wheels, but added a tall screen, upright bars and a larger tank, pitching it at A2-licence riders and commuters who wanted light touring ability.
