Honda file

1976 was the first year the CB750A Hondamatic went on general sale in the US. It paired the 736 cc single-cam four, detuned for torque, with a torque converter and two-speed foot-selected transmission. A side stand that knocked the gearbox into neutral and a starter that only worked in neutral were among its novice-friendly touches.
