Honda file

The first-year CB900F, sold in Europe as the Super Sport and later known as the Bol d'Or, enlarged Honda's new DOHC 16-valve four to 901 cc using the CBX six's bore with a longer stroke. Its styling and engineering drew on Honda's endurance-racing RCB machines, and it was praised for handling that rivalled European sportsbikes, with air-assisted forks and adjustable rear dampers.
