The 1983 CB900F-D was the final run of the Bol d'Or before the larger CB1100F took over as Honda's flagship air-cooled four. It kept the 901 cc 16-valve engine with four carburettors and around 95 hp, the twin-shock chassis and chain drive; sources differ on when twin-piston front calipers and anti-dive forks arrived.
