Honda file

The first CBR1000F (SC21, sold in the US as the Hurricane 1000) arrived in 1987 as a fully faired, liquid-cooled 998 cc four aimed at fast road riding rather than racing. The all-enveloping bodywork hid the engine and frame, and the bike was praised for its comfortable riding position, strong mid-range and good value. It ran on 17-inch wheels with relatively narrow 110/140 tyres and two-piston front calipers.
