Honda file

By 1996 the CBR1000F was a mature sports tourer, carrying the restyled bodywork and Dual-CBS linked brakes it gained in the early 1990s. Its smooth 998 cc carburettor four, roomy riding position and big fairing made it a fast, comfortable two-up machine rather than a sharp sports bike. This was also the year the CBR1100XX Super Blackbird arrived above it, and the US market dropped the 1000F after 1996.
