The 2018 base Fireblade carried over the SC77 package launched a year earlier, unchanged in its main figures. It kept the ride-by-wire engine, riding modes, IMU-assisted ABS and electronic steering damper, with Showa suspension and Tokico brakes rather than the SP's semi-active Öhlins hardware.
