The 2024 standard Fireblade received the SC82's mid-life update: higher compression, revised valve timing, a lighter crank and titanium rods, and shorter gearing for stronger drive out of corners. A two-motor throttle-by-wire system, retuned rider aids, a less rigid and lighter frame, reshaped winglets and a slightly bigger tank complete the changes. Unlike the SP it keeps Showa suspension and Nissin front calipers.
