Introduced in 2004 to fill the gap left by the two-stroke NSR125, the CBR125R is a Thai-built learner sportbike with a liquid-cooled 124.7 cc four-stroke single fed by a carburettor. Styled after the CBR600F4i, it offered light weight, easy handling and low running costs for new riders rather than outright performance.
