The CBR250 Four (MC14) was Honda's first CBR-badged quarter-litre, sold in Japan from 1986. Its liquid-cooled 249 cc inline four revved to around 14,500 rpm, giving small-capacity riders a genuine miniature superbike. It set the template for the screaming 250 cc fours that dominated the Japanese market into the 1990s.
