Honda file

The CBR400F was Honda's first bike to wear the CBR badge, a Japanese-market 400 with an air-cooled sixteen-valve inline four. Its REV system ran on two valves per cylinder low down and switched in the other two at high revs, giving usable low-end pull and a sharp top-end rush. Testers found it more of a comfortable sport-tourer than a stripped racer, stable and roomy apart from footpegs set close to the seat.
