For 2027 Honda gave the CBR500R badge a completely new engine: a compact 502 cc inline four that revs to 11,000 rpm, replacing the familiar parallel twin. It is paired with Honda's E-Clutch, a steel diamond frame using the engine as a stressed member, inverted KYB forks and radial-mount front calipers. The aim is an approachable, A2-friendly (a 35 kW version is offered) sports bike with the sound and character of a small four.
