The 2017 update (RC96) gave the CBR650F a revised intake and a new 4-into-1 exhaust for around 3 kW more top-end power, along with shorter gearing for better mid-range drive and Euro 4 compliance. A Showa Dual Bending Valve fork, sharper Fireblade-like bodywork, a slightly more forward riding position and full LED lighting completed the changes.
