For 2021 the CBR650R moved to Euro 5 with revised ECU settings, cams, exhaust and catalyst while keeping its peak power. Showa SFF-BP big-piston upside-down forks replaced the earlier fork, and the update also brought new side panels, a clearer LCD, revised headlight reflectors and a USB-C socket under the seat.
