The CBR750 (RC27), also known as the Super Aero, was launched in 1987 as a 748 cc sibling of the fully enclosed CBR1000F, with a liquid-cooled 16-valve inline-four. It borrowed its forks, brakes and calipers from the VFR750 and was designed as a comfortable, predictable sport-tourer rather than an outright racer, with a relaxed riding position and a fuel gauge.
