Honda file

The CBX 650E was the European version of the 655 cc shaft-drive four that Americans knew as the CB650SC Nighthawk. Its 16-valve DOHC engine used hydraulic tappets so the valves never needed adjusting, and it came with air-assisted anti-dive forks and a 19/16-inch wheel combination. The long wheelbase and cruiser-style tank and side panels did not go down well with European buyers, who saw it as a rival to the Yamaha XJ650 and Kawasaki Z550GT but bought few of them.
