Honda file

The CBX750F replaced the long-running air-cooled CB750 fours as Honda's 750 sports bike, running alongside the V4 VF750. Its new 16-valve DOHC engine had hydraulic tappets, an alternator tucked behind the cylinders and a compact layout, and drove through a six-speed gearbox to a chain. A half fairing with twin headlights, Pro-Link rear suspension, anti-dive forks and a 16-inch front Comstar wheel gave it a sporty but practical character.
