The CD175 was Honda's practical 174 cc twin for commuters, with an upright parallel-twin engine, four-speed gearbox, fully enclosed chain and drum brakes in full-width alloy hubs. By the 1970s it used a tubular frame with the engine as a stressed member and had a reputation for smoothness and durability, happily cruising flat out for long distances. It was eventually replaced by the CD185.
