The first-generation modern Rebel 300 launched for 2017, replacing the old Rebel 250 with a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 286 cc single taken from the CBR300R. It brought a low-slung bobber look with blacked-out parts, a fat 16-inch tyre package and discs at both ends, with ABS as an option. Honda aimed it at younger and newer riders who want a light, easy bike they can customise.
