For 2020 the Rebel 500 gained LED lighting front and rear, a new LCD meter, an assist/slipper clutch that cuts lever effort, revised fork and shock settings and a thicker seat. The 471 cc twin and chassis geometry were unchanged. It marked the first significant refresh since the model launched.
