The Adventure Sports was the long-distance version of the CRF1000L Africa Twin, with a 24.2-litre tank, taller screen, longer-travel suspension, higher seat and extra crash protection. For 2019 it was carried over largely unchanged from its 2018 debut, apart from new colour options; it was offered with either a six-speed manual or Honda's dual-clutch DCT gearbox. It was the last Adventure Sports with the 998 cc engine before the 1084 cc CRF1100L arrived for 2020.
