The 2020 CRF1100L was a thorough redesign of the Africa Twin: the twin grew to 1084 cc for about 100 hp, the bike lost weight, gained a bolt-on aluminium subframe and slimmer bodywork, and received an IMU-based electronics package with cornering ABS, wheelie control and a 6.5-inch touchscreen TFT. The base model keeps the 21-inch front wheel, low screen and 18.8-litre tank for a more off-road focus than the Adventure Sports, and is offered with a manual gearbox or DCT.
