For 2010 the CRF230M carried on unchanged as a light, low-seat motard for urban riding and back roads. It used the air-cooled 223 cc single with a 30 mm CV carburettor, 17-inch wheels on Dunlop GT401 tyres and a Renthal aluminium handlebar. Practical touches included folding self-cleaning footpegs, a sealed battery and a USDA-qualified spark arrester.
