For 2009-10 the CRF250X carried on as Honda's 250 cc four-stroke enduro bike, built from the CRF250R motocross platform but with an electric starter, lighting coil, larger tank and trail-tuned Showa suspension. Its strengths remained low weight, a tractable Unicam engine and sharp handling in tight terrain.
