Renamed CRF450RL, the 2021 version is the same road-legal CRF450-based dual-sport with the emphasis shifted slightly towards road comfort. It uses a wide-ratio six-speed gearbox and different gearing, a quieter muffler and a damped swingarm, along with hand guards, mirrors, LED lighting and the titanium tank. Seat height and ground clearance grew marginally.
