The CX650 Turbo was Honda's second-generation turbo bike, using a larger 673 cc engine with higher compression, bigger valves and a larger turbocharger to reach 100 hp. Off-boost response was much better than the 500 Turbo, though the boost still arrived abruptly. Revised suspension damping made it more stable, and it was a comfortable fast tourer, but it was heavy and sold in small numbers, with fewer than 1,200 going to the US and Canada.
