The production DN-01 arrived in Japan and Europe in 2008 and the US in 2009 as a 'performance cruiser' with no clutch lever or gear pedal, using Honda's Human-Friendly Transmission, a hydro-mechanical CVT with automatic modes and a six-step manual mode. The 680 cc V-twin sat in long, low bodywork with a very low seat, combined ABS brakes and shaft drive. Its price and unusual concept limited sales and it was dropped after 2010.
