Honda unveiled the DN-01 as a concept at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show in 2005, presenting it as a large sports cruiser that blended motorcycle and scooter ideas around an automatic transmission. It previewed the long, low styling and 680 cc V-twin with hydro-mechanical CVT that reached production in 2008.
