Honda file

The F6C Valkyrie (GL1500C in the USA) was Honda's power cruiser built around the Gold Wing's 1520 cc flat-six. For its debut Honda gave the engine a different camshaft and six separate carburettors, so it made noticeably more power and torque than the touring Gold Wing. It came as a naked, chrome-heavy cruiser with a fat 45 mm fork and wide tyres, and US bikes were assembled in Marysville, Ohio. Testers found it far more agile than its size suggested, though some missed the shake of a V-twin.
