The FMX 650 was Honda's road-going supermoto built in Spain, using the air-cooled 644 cc RFVC single from the NX 650 Dominator in a new frame with a 45 mm inverted fork and 17-inch wheels. In its later years it carried on largely unchanged, with a catalytic converter keeping it Euro-2 compliant at the cost of a little power. It suited riders who wanted an easy, torquey town bike with supermoto looks rather than a race-bred machine.
