For 1999 the Vigor continued as Honda's styled-up successor to the SLR 650, with no mechanical changes listed against the launch bikes. Its air-cooled 644 cc single, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels and disc brakes at both ends made it an easy-going road single, while the small fairing and rev counter set it apart from the plainer SLR it replaced.
