Honda file

The GL1100 replaced the GL1000 for 1980 with a bored-out 1085 cc flat-four, 30 mm carburettors, electronic ignition and a stronger drivetrain tuned for more low-end torque. A new chassis brought a longer wheelbase, more rake and trail and air-assisted suspension, with a slightly lower seat. This was the unfaired standard model, sold alongside the new factory-dressed Interstate.
